Dr. Hudson-Vassell is a quantitative education researcher with a background in educational leadership. His research interests include organizational structures and the relationships between institution-level factors and Black students’ schooling outcomes.

Dr. Charisse Southwell is an education researcher with a background in education leadership. Her research interests include cultural competencies in pre-service educators and the impacts of poverty on practitioner decision-making and student outcomes.

Dr. Thomas Moore is an education researcher with a background in higher education administration. His research interests include education policy, education as a civil right and cross-cultural mentorship in the academy.

Dr. Justin Hosbey is a qualitative researcher with a background in ethnographic research and the digital and spatial humanities. His research interests include public education policy, economic inequality, and Black communities in the US South.
