Our mission is to de-commodify good research knowledge and effective practice among emergent and in-practice education researchers (regardless of their institution and/or where they work).
We endeavor to connect them to the broader field of social science and help them refine pivotal skillsets of the discipline.
Our goal is to cultivate Critical Thinking and Transparent Praxis through our 3C focus - Collaborative, Calibrating and Community-Based:
Collaborative - We don't do your work for you. We support and empower you with critical feedback and next steps recommendations because we believe that you can become the researcher you are looking for. We help you focus on getting the skills so that you can be a help to another researcher-in-training.
Calibrating - We get you up to speed with where the field is on key aspects of the research process for the discipline of education. In a short period of time, you will find yourself bringing together what you've learned from your research, subject area and analysis courses to produce a dissertation prospectus and/or final product you can be proud of.
Community-based - All research exists for public benefit and the best research is performed collectively. We help you ensure that your work elevates the concerns of the community you are hoping to help. We also provide a community of scholars to serve as sounding boards for your ideas.
